SoundCloud is one of the most well-known “social sound platform” for sharing audio content. SoundCloud hosts music from a wide range of artists and provides the opportunity to common users to share all types of audio based content online. While most people might consider SoundCloud to be more associated with listening to music, you can upload and share any type of audio content ranging from stories, general sounds, news, religion, etc. You can also share the available audio content via sharing URL or embed code which can perhaps be inserted in a blog post or PowerPoint file to present to an audience.
To use the SoundCloud service you can sign up for a free account or login using Facebook.
