Difference Between iPhone 6 And iPhone 6 Plus
After ages worth of waiting the biggest launch of the year happened with crowds going mad waiting to get the first glimpse of the newest marquee of the Apple iPhone 6!
Well now that the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is out, it is time to start comparing! Yes the iPhone 6 Plus is not only visually larger looking and a little heavier than its little sibling it also has a few features that haven’t been included in the iPhone 6 which has made a lot of people question whether or not they should buy the new iPhone upgrade at all! Instead of giving you a lengthy and confusing list of features, below is a summary of the primary difference between the two devices.
Screen, Resolution and Pixel Density
The iPhone 6 Plus has many features that aren’t available in the iPhone 6. Starting with the most prominent one- the Screen, the iPhone 6 Plus does not only have a larger screen it also has a better screen resolution than the iPhone 6. This makes the whole display look much better and sharper! The pixel density in the iPhone 6 Plus is greater than that of 6 and that again makes a huge difference!
Optical Image Stabilization
While both the phones share the same 8 megapixel camera, the iPhone 6 Plus has an added feature called optical image stabilization allowing the phone to focus better and quicker and capture moving images with precision.
Landscape Feature
The biggest and perhaps the most prominent feature difference is that the iPhone 6 Plus has the landscape feature available for some apps, which the iPhone 6 lacks! This feature allows the phone to go into a landscape display like the iPad when the phone is held horizontally.
Battery Life
The battery is another point where the iPhone 6 Plus has taken lead, the phone will last longer in terms of number of hours, you can talk for longer, use the internet for longer and watch videos and movies for longer than the iPhone 6!
If you are a tech savvy person and like to have the most updated version of your phones and other gadgets then the iPhone 6 Plus seems like the better option to have, the price definitely does shoot up to almost a hundred dollars than the iPhone 6, but then again, is it really worth it? Besides the extra large size can seem a bit awkward and difficult to carry. If only Apple could add the extra features without a Plus size, it may give consumers more of a choice.
