Convert Flash to HTML5 with Wallaby from Adobe Labs
Wallaby is the codename for an experimental technology created by Adobe that converts the artwork and animation contained in Adobe Flash Professional (FLA) files into HTML.
This allows you to reuse and extend the reach of your content to devices that do not support the Flash runtimes, and it is ideal to display Flash content in websites and devices that do not support Flash. Modern browsers are able to run HTML5 even in mobile smartphones and tablet PC so by using Wallaby from Adobe Labs you can convert your Flash Files to HTML and make possible to deliver the content to users running these devices.
Once these files are converted to HTML, you can edit them with an HTML editing tool. This can be very handly for presenters that need to convert FLA to HTML or for other uses. You can view the output in one of the supported browsers in Android or PC or on an iOS device like iPhone or iPad.
You should be aware that not all Flash features are supported in the HTML5 format so Wallaby will try to make the best to convert it accurately but there may exist some differences at the end of the conversion process. Some differences were discovered between the various browsers, and some device variations have been found, and any currently known issues.
Wallaby is available for Windows and Mac.
